I went there for breakfast an will not be returning. The food was okay and overpriced and the service was awful. The waitress just kind of stood over us and didn't say anything it was really odd. My girlfriend wasn't hungry and ordered an English muffin and the waitress in a snotty manner said that's it! When she brought out the food she didn't even give her a plate and put the muffin in the breadbasket with the toast that came with my meal. How are you supposed to butter a muffin in a bread basket and no plate. My girlfriend opened up her napkin and used that as a plate and the waitress didn't even notice.

Words can't describe how much I love Dough Roller. I have been coming here for 20 years, and the pizza quality has never changed. It's my go- to OCMD pizza shop. It is a bit expensive, but its well orth it.The pizza comes out fresh and hot. The bacon cheese fries are great too. Also, Dougn Roller has a pancake breakfast menu too.

I went here on the boardwalk while in Ocean City this past weekend. I honestly don't know where to begin. This place should be the #1 contender for Restaurant Impossible. I saw at least 10 workers too many not doing any work. They were talking with each other, standing around, and even some in the kitchen were more busy watching the TV they conveniently hidden on a shelf. After nearly walking out after not being waited on for almost 10 minutes, I ordered one of their 'popular picks' - the Cheesesteak in addition to a tossed salad. While I waited for the food, I browsed the reviews on here and was startled that what I ordered had gotten bad reviews. But I'm an optimist and hope for the best. Well the reviews were true. I've been to Philly before and know how a Cheesesteak is supposed to be made. Ocean City and The Dough Roller obviously never been to Philly. The bread was average at best, the cheese and beef were subpar, and the onions were RAW. What? I'm speechless. The tossed salad was more like a bowl of croutons surrounding by carrots with a side of lettuce. I never seen a salad so backwards in my life. While I believe the pizza would have been decent and they do toss and make the dough there with their open kitchen (that is how I knew they were watching TV), the crazy $20 prices for one was not my taste. 2 stars is being generous and only because it is one of the better places to eat on the boardwalk. That isn't saying much. Chef Robert Irvine! Where are you???

Disappointed at the small slices for the money. Not especially the tastiest either. Sam's club is better! Try something else on the boardwalk if you're hungry. Just my opinion.

Bacon pancakes- pretty damn good. Buckwheat pancakes, delicious. Eggs and cheese with home fries-giant portion. Pizza was "eh" but being from NYC, MD has no chance no matter where, what or when. The waitress was very nice. The place is open all around fold back doors for summer, so we had annoying flies pestering us the entire meal. Cheap eats in a touristy area surrounded by places that tend to rip you off. So over all, its a good find.

Well the food smelled OK when we walked past at least 15 workers standing around they sat us in bac k at a table for 6 we were 8 they moved us a corner table for 9 good well that was the last waitress we saw ask a couple of waitress about taking our order the answer was sorry not my table after almost 20 minutes we just got up and left never again

I ordered the buffalo wings here for lunch. I thought the wings were pretty good, just a bit small. The fries were subpar.

I was on a mission for funnel cake during my trip to Ocean City. Every other shop down the boardwalk had funnel cake, but in lieu of funnel cake, they offer funnel fries (!!!) here. They taste JUST like a regular funnel cake, crispiness and all, just in a fry format. Unfortunately, there are no additional toppings offered here for those who want extra sweetness with their funnel cake. My boyfriend also ordered the crab cake sandwich and medium sized fries. The crab cake was decent, but not really impressive for Maryland crab standards. However, the medium sized fries could have easily fed a group of 3-4, so this would be a great sharing option for groups. This chain has several locations on the boardwalk. The service was mediocre because we felt like we were being rushed even though there wasn't anybody behind us. The food itself took awhile. There's also seating next to the restaurant, but all of the tables were dirty and we had to clean it ourselves. Overall -- it deserves its 3 star rating because it was just A-OK.

I heard about The Dough Roller from Yelp when the new Rockville location recently opened. I haven't made my way to that location, but since I was in Ocean City I figured I should try it. My parents and I had a Supreme pizza and we also had a pina colada and sangria. The sangria was WAY too sweet, but the pina colada was pretty good. The pizza definitely wasn't New York pizza, but it was still pretty good. I love a lot of toppings, but the crust was too thin to hold it. We definitely ended up cutting it with a fork a knife up to a certain point or holding it with two hands while toppings were slowly falling off. I also thought there were too many mushrooms in the Supreme toppings, but that's a personal thing. We had some leftovers and ended up eating them the next day, and like many things, the leftovers taste better than when they're first made. We also ordered pancakes to have for breakfast the next day. We ordered banana pancakes and coconut pancakes & they were both very good. I'll definitely be coming back to this place next time I visit Ocean City.

First time here. Pizza was ok. Service was ok. Burgers disgusting. Place was clean and the hotel seemed pretty cool. I get the "on the boardwalk thing" but the food really was not good across the board. Go if u have to, don't if you can help it.

Yelp, pleeeeasse let us do half stars. If I could, I'd give this place 3.5. I've tried the cheese, veggie, and pepperoni pizza here. Cheese was actually the best. Anyway, the pizza is really good, but that's all I could speak to. One of the two times I ate here, I ordered the pizza at the take out counter. When my husband and I saw the slices come out of the oven, we looked at each other like, "ew," but looks were deceiving--it was really good. The crust is nice and crunchy but soft and yummy at the same time. The server was okay. Not super friendly or rude--just getting through her shift. The inside was fair and air conditioned/cool even though the front doors are open.

My boyfriend and I came here for lunch on a day trip to OC. We were greeted by a woman who didn't seem happy, almost as if it were a burden to wait on us. $5.99 for the piña colada and strawberry daiquiri drinks - definitely have had better. I got a cheesesteak which had cheese, onions, and lettuce on it and generally had no taste whatsoever. The boyfriend got a chicken parmigiana sub. For subs/sandwiches; they do not come with fries and to add them to your meal would be an extra $2.99 which I thought was ridiculous. Maybe the pizza is good? Probably should've gotten that. We walked out paying $39 for two meals and two drinks. Overall, not a good experience. Staff wasn't friendly, food and drinks were below average, and personally I think they're overpriced for the quality of food. We won't be eating here again.

I don't understand what it means to call a place "a tradition." That doesn't mean the food is good - just that you're stupid enough to keep coming back. I felt an overwhelming feeling of sadness and despair when we were seated in the back. The lighting is like a Lane Bryant inside a failing strip mall in the year 1987. It's yellow and nauseating. Carousel horses mock you while you eat. The place is PACKED with families - shrieking kids everywhere, while the entire front portion of the restaurant (which actually looks fairly tolerable) is left 1/2 empty. It was like a bait and switch. We asked to move immediately. We would have gone some place else if it wasn't our "let's just eat something before we head home, it's this or the rest stop" meal. The food is overpriced crap. It will take you 30 minutes to discern the menu. Why there are categories for Subs, Grinders, and Sandwiches is a study in repetition that would make a restaurant consultants head spin around - provided he's not vomiting from the food. The salad was ok, but I only ordered it to avoid eating anything that would make me sick. Also, because it was one of the cheapest things on the menu and I will not be one of those people that gets shaken down for half his net worth in return for reheated Costco food.

Everytme I go to ocean city Maryland I eat dough rollers! I have eaten at two locations and they both are consistent but this location. Is on the boardwalk so it open and way more noise and movement now that's not a problem for me I am just letting you guys know. If you want more quiet go to the location on ocean drive. It's less hustle bustle and closed in! Enjoy! Because it's the best pizza I had in a very long time!!

This is a breakfast review since it's my first time here. Damn, awesome breakfast, pancakes were light and fluffy and the sausage was outstanding. I asked about the brand so I could look for it myself. 2 of us was $26 before tip. Coffee was $3 which I thought was a little high but we are on the boardwalk of Ocean City MD. Enjoy

  • Marty S.

The food quality was average, and the service was weak at best. The pizza was scalding hot and flaccid. The drinks were ok, but nothing to write home about. There are many better places in Ocean City to get a good meal and a drink.

Dough rollers is a ocean city tradition. If you expect to be blown away with the best food you ever had, prepare for disappointment. If you want a nice fresh dough, thin crust pizza then you'll enjoy it here. They also have other things like subs, sandwiches and salads. But if you come and don't get a pie, then something is wrong with you. It's a pizza place. My favorite topping is the sausage. It's not those small brown nuggets you get from dub shops. No, it's fresh crumbled sausage. In the mood for pancakes? Pancakes are sold allllllllll daaaaaayyyyyy loooonnnnggggg. Service is always fast. Tables are always clean and I enjoy the old school lunch boxes and other cool things they have around. Prices are fair and best of all they have a kids menu. They also give the kids a toy. Each year it's something different. My kids look forward to going here. It's usually our first stop!

The food was great! Pizza was delicious. The best item on the menu though are the funnel fries! I could go through a Colonel's bucket of those.

I'm a 20% tipper but I gave our waiter 8%. I gave him the 8% because at least he didn't kill us. We ordered and only asked for two other things. Crayons for the 8 year old and a side of ranch, neither of which we got. Apparently they don't own a broom at this location since I was able to scavenge 5 crayons from the floor amid the straw wrappers and napkins. A runner brought our food out so other than the taking the order, our waiter didn't do much other than letting our water run dry. The food was good though. I just can't stand poor service.

The worst lunch I ever had in My life with My Family. Food tastes like nothing! Zero taste! Zero flavor! Nothing! Would never go back! Would never recommend to anyone!

  • Joe S.

First time visiting there. Probably wouldn't eat there again. Got seated around 10pm. The place was a disaster. There was pieces of pizza on the floor under our table. Dirty tables all around. The waitress was ok, definitely tell they were getting tired of waiting on people. Food was nothing to make me want to take the family there again. Tourist place with overpriced everything. Overall, skip it and keep walking down the boardwalk.

I was craving something 'unfried' for my lunch on my beach chair and had a hankering for a good old fashioned Italian Cold Cut sub. Dough Roller delivered big time; fresh ingredients, very tasty Italian cold cuts, perfect hard sub roll to collect that oil and vinegar! Excellent lunch spot!

    (4)
  • Mark D.

The wait staff is good, I was expecting that kinda crappy kinda good pizza and the cheese was the consistency of a Wendy's frosty with butter like Grease pools on it. Not a fan.

    (2)
  • Alan S.

It's on the boardwalk so the location is great but the food is generic and way overpriced especially for breakfast. Food was ok but not great. You only go to this place because it's on the boardwalk and that's it. Would not go back.

We were looking for somewhere to grab a quick dinner and sit down away from the rain. This Dough Roller location was a poor choice. My friend and I were seated in a booth with filthy floors. Napkins, crayons and food littered the floor. We were moved to another booth. There was old cheese stuck on the napkin dispenser. Our poor server had difficulty with the tablet they use to order because it was his first day. Several staff stood around chatting by the kitchen area and only one gentleman was bussing tables. He cleared three and wiped them down while others watched. My bbq chicken sandwich meal was somehow brought out in under five minutes along with our onion rings appetizer. The waitress said BBQ pork and when I asked, 'chicken?' she replied, 'oh yeah, chicken.' The sandwich was disgusting looking. Absolutely dried, crusty and old. The sauce was dried up from the quick reheat via microwave. I returned the sandwich and asked for a burger instead. The bbq sandwich came with coleslaw. Someone sent the waiter back to us to say, "They said either I have to take back the coleslaw or you have to pay for it." As I did not have a special bond to the slaw, I sent with the poor waiter. The burger was the mushroom and onion and was cooked on a grill and tasted fine. My friend said his cheese pizza was fine too. That's the only reason for two stars. Everything else was worth one. We also had to ask for straws for our water, plates and utensils. No one came over to check on us for 15 minutes and they had only 5 tables occupied. If you choose to visit OCMD at the very least try a different Dough Roller location as this one was more frustrating than eating sand.

I wanted to give the Dough Roller another chance so we went to the 41st street location for pick up the pizza was fresh hot and perfectly cook we also had a chicken finger basket which my kids said was the best ever service was prompt and pollite would definitely recommend eating at their coastal highway locations not the boardwalk.

Great tasting pizza, if your a fan of more of a thinner crust and lots of cheese. We enjoyed our experience; waiting staff was friendly and prices reasonable.

One word: Disgusting. What a waste of money. I haven't been here in years so I gave it a shot. Yuck is all I can say. They must stay afloat from the one time visits of tourists. I know OC has to have more to offer.

    (1)
  • Rachel L.

The reason I am giving 4 stars is because the sangria is delicious! However, the food is mediocre. I got a buffalo chicken sandwich and it was like a chicken patty with buffalo sauce poured on it... Yuck ... Also got the crab bites and they weren't bad... A little on the crispier/burnt side... Next time I think I'll try the pizza.

Being from Jersey, I am quick to judge pizza. My boyfriend and I came here for lunch and ordered just a slice to go with our lunch to try it out. The pizza tasted like something I would get from pizza hut. All I tasted was cheese and hardly any "sauce" (very poor excuse for sauce). I got a cold cut sub, but I wish I hadn't. The sub had no flavor whatsoever, and to be honest the meat did not look that appetizing. 10.99 for a 6 inch sub with no sides (without paying extra for frozen fries!), very disappointing. My boyfriend had gotten a cheesesteak sub. They didn't even put fresh peppers on it, they were peppers from a jar! Aside from the food, there was a cheese shaker on the table with dried up sauce and cheese all over the top, disgusting. I will not be going back here and upset we even stopped to try it out.

I think they should name this place the dough roller diner because thats a more accurate discription of what it is, a diner. Good solid breafast food, but most of the other fare is pre made, and fried or cooked to order. Pizza is actually not that great, its thin which is fine but limp, I mean the underside is white, and the cheese and sauce ratios are incorrect to me and bland. Floors and tables were dirty. I get bummed out about most of the fare on the boardwalk at ocean city. It seems like since there are torist there they just dont care and know people need places to eat. Let's pile on the crap.

Just so not impressed. Ordered "The New Yorker" It is nothing but Sliced unseasonably turkey, cheese on a hoggie. It was really a disappointment. I had to order Jalapeños to liven It up.

Boyfriend and I were on the boardwalk in search for a slice and came upon one of the many dough rollers in the area. We didn't have high standards, since we were really hungry and were planning to initially order dominos. They seated us towards the back where it looked like a tornado of kids had hit. There was trash, crayons and headless rubber duckies everywhere. We ended up ordering mozzarella sticks (they ended up coming out hallow w/ barely any cheese left) and a personal pizza that looked and tasted very cheap. If you have hyper kids, low standards for food and were looking for an atmosphere that is similar to a chuckie cheese, then this is ur spot.

If your gonna cook especially where people can see you cooking, please wear gloves do not text, pick up your watch bottle or touch/ lean on the counter tops without washing you hands before touching people's food.

This is by far the best restaurant in ocean city for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food is always fresh and taste good. Service is good and you get your food quick.

I love me a good greasy pepperoni pizza and one that you can walk to from the beach right on the boardwalk. Daughter and I also love their grilled cheese sandwhich.

A grill, a pancake house and a pizzeria all rolled into one--ideal for hungry tourists wandering O-City's boardwalk. Tired after a long day, the convenience and the aroma of the pizza oven's products being sold to take-out customers drew us in. Open-air windows on our visit permitted the ocean breeze to mingle with the aroma of tomato sauce and oregano. Our server Sheila was friendly and helpful, explaining novelties of the menu and taking a special order in stride. The Rhode Island Grinder and the Italian Cheese Steak sandwich were hearty and tasty, altho' Philly has no threat from this Cheese Steak sandwich. The Roller's Sangria was pleasant and uncomplicated, eliciting chuckles for the "crazy straw" looping up from the glass. Overall--decent food, average prices, good service, convenient location. No wonder this family-owned business has prospered (and expanded) since 1980. Note: This is a bit delayed, from a late April, 2014 visit.

After our friends' run we walked over to Dough Roller for breakfast. I had the french toasts with ham and egg it was a good hearty dish but not too heavy. I asked for soda water it appeared to be out of the ordinary but the waitress did her best to expedite the soda to me. It's one of those places you had to have breakfast at Ocean City.

  • Reem C.

The Dough Roller was conveniently located below our hotel. We ate there for lunch on the day we arrived in Ocean City and for breakfast on our second day there. We ordered a grilled chicken sandwich. The chicken breast was juicy. I've had sandwiches at other places where it seems like they cook the life out of the chicken. Breakfast was okay. There was nothing really spectacular about it. However, I must admit their pancakes are really good. They're soft and thin, yet very fluffy and moist. The omelette was subpar. Our waitress was great. She tried her best to get us to save some money by providing tips on what to order, what we could share, etc. When the bill came, we noticed there were one or two items missing. I have no complaints.

  • Steve B.

I went here for dinner so I can't speak to its breakfast. It's ok. Nothing special. I only went here because my food choices for 3 kids are limited on the boardwalk. The pizza was average but I'm from northern Jersey so I probably have higher standards. Other food was ok. Positives were food came super fast and the staff was friendly. Restaurant is ok but if you're in Ocean City, I suggest sticking with seafood restaurants whenever possible.

Dough Roller has really good food! However, the soda is always watered down, and has a weird plasticky taste. And it gets very busy, so be prepared to wait for a table. When we last came, (July 2014), Our waitress never checked on us to see if we needed a refill or anything..

    (3)
  • Brandy S.

Worst. Pizza. Ever. The dough was raw and the onions, peppers, and mushrooms appeared to be canned. They were watery and just kind of thrown on top of the super-salty cheese. Gross beyond belief.

I had the big French toast roller. It was all pretty tasty and I would go there again but nothing was superior to any other good breakfast place.

Good food. Tasty. Fast service. Pizza comes out super hot-- be careful with the kids- easy to burn roof of your mouth. Crab cakes are delish!

As I've said in other reviews in Ocean City, I come down here once a year with a group of guys to go camping in Assateague. It's been happening for well over 10 years now. And, our longest and deepest tradition is to go to this particular Dough Roller location for breakfast every morning. You see, one of our particular campers talked us into this tradition because he is addicted to their pizza omelets. He won't order anything else there. In fact, he would probably accept a Dough Roller pizza omelet as his last meal. Well, let me give you more detail on these pizza omelets. When it comes down to it, they actually do have a very unique flavor combination. The sauce has a sweetness that works very well. The pepperoni actually has some bite to it to go with the sweetness of the sauce. The omelet is well constructed and holds the ingredients well. Yes, this is in fact one of the better made omelets I have had. It is worthy of a special trip. I do occasionally try other omelets here. I am also a fan of the fajita omelet. However, I do agree that it is second to the pizza omelet in taste. Also, I don't know what it is, but their pancakes have this knack for going really well with the butter and syrup. They seem to hold them very well. They know their dough. However, you would think that being experts in dough, they would make a great pizza. Every time we've given them a shot on their pizza, it's been disappointing. I suppose their pizza ingredients only work on eggs. And, I've found that the staff can be a little inflexible. For instance, three slices of French Toast costs the same on the menu as three pancakes. With the omelets they offer a choice of a side of pancakes or a side of toast. However, when I asked if I could get a small side of French Toast instead of pancakes or toast with my omelet, I was told no. But they would be happy to charge me extra for an order of French Toast to go along with all of what they give you with the omelet. Wrong answer. Good restaurants honor reasonable requests. This was not unreasonable. However, I will consider it a minor offense. They're lucky their pizza omelets are so damn good. They make me very forgiving.

I'm a fan of the funnel cake fries. What makes this place far superior than any other place that sells just regular round funnel cakes? It's way easier to eat. You only need one hand. Gone are the days where you need two hands to tear apart the funnel cake to eat it. JUST USE ONE HAND!!! Who gives a crap about using one or two hands? I do. It means reducing the chances of consuming germs. 1 hand versus 2 hands...that's 50% reduction!!! But the most important reason...is because you can eat and drive at the same time!!! **Disclaimer - I do not condone distracted driving. I do however highly recommend good eats!!!

Mediuma cheese pizza was $15 something here. Including two drinks and tax.. it came out to about $21. The service was extremely fast. This location is really big and holds a lot of people. We were sat down immediately. Pizza was good. Crust was crunchy and delicious. Only 4 stars instead of 5 because of the price. Other than that, no complaints here.

I've been going to OC for 30 years and have always looked forward to hitting the Dough Roller on 3rd. We went last Sat 6/21 for breakfast and were so disappointed in how things were that we won't be returning. My GF ordered a cheese omelet, and I had pancakes with an omelet as well. It took 40 min to get our food, had to ask for real butter, salt, utensils and the floor to be wiped. Once the food came, her omelet was just eggs. We were aggravated already at the wait and other issues, and then this. We sent it back for an omelet with cheese, and was brought the same omelet with a fistful of shredded cheese just dumped on top and obviously mic'd. Gross and a real slap in the face from the "cook". Maybe it would have taken 3 min to cook a fresh egg omelet?? Obviously someone who thought "she wants cheese, I'll GIVE her cheese". As we waited for our check, we noticed the floor was covered in food, and even when the busboys cleared the tables, no one swept the floor! New customers would be seated and would just have to step on bacon, eggs, whatever as they sat in their booths. Absolute laziness and a lack of caring on the staff and especially mgmt. And so disappointing for a place that used to be a destination for us.

There is a lot of seating at this restaurant. The drinks arrive at your table very quickly, and the food arrives in a reasonable amount of time. The portions are big, and the quality is better than average. Try going at approximately 10:00 a.m. on a weekday --- you will avoid the breakfast crowd and the lunch crowd, and you will receive prompt service.

  • Kenni H.

My favorite part was the atmosphere, I liked how it was open and I could feel the ocean breeze coming in! Umm, otherwise, the service was good! My pizza was a little boring tho. I wouldn't say it was bad, i'm pretty forgiving when it comes to pizza :D but if i went back I'd probably get something else.

Service was great. We had our food within two-three minutes of ordering. Bacon cheese fries were awesome. Cheesesteak and pizza were ok. Nice atmosphere for the boardwalk. Would come again.

We ate here for the first time today and were very disappointed! I got a slice of pizza and my boyfriend got the Philly cheesesteak. The pizza was greasy and tasted like it had been warmed up after having been cooked hours before and the sauce tasted like it was straight out of a can. I could make a better cheesesteak at home - and I don't cook! It tasted as if they took 5 frozen Steak-Ums, cooked them and slapped them on a bun with raw onions. We also asked for extra mayonnaise on the sandwich and instead received none at all. Seriously, who serves a cheesesteak without grilling the onions?! The outside seating area was filthy and needed some attention. The only good thing about this place was the large serving of French fries. We will definitely skip this restaurant on our next trip.

Stopped-in and ordered a couple of slices, mozzarella sticks and sangria. Pizza was ok, mozzarella sticks were good. Sangria tasted like grape juice with a piece of an orange in it. Service was not too friendly. Not the worst, but I would not return.

I know that they are known for their pizza, and I enjoy their pizza. Has anyone tried their cheese steaks, Oh sweet jeezus!! I love it! The amount of cheese on that thing could choke a horse, but I am no horse so I devoured mine just fine! Try the cheesteak!!!

My wife and I ate breakfast here. We both had the "little roller" which consists of two pancakes, three strips of bacon and an egg. Let's start with the eggs, which we are fairly certain were not fresh, but from a carton. They weren't really edible, and were slightly runny. The bacon was clearly frozen and low quality, barely crispy. The pancakes were served with a fake syrup, imitation butter spread and were no better than Denny's. The cost with tip and two coffees (fake creamer) was about $30. I would never eat here again, and would never recommend this place to anyone, except if you needed to get inside from the heat and use the bathroom. Avoid at all costs, as this place has chosen profit over all else by using the cheapest possible ingredients.

Pizza was not good, and service was strangely bad despite the high staff to customer ratio. Server who brought us our drink took a SIP of it while we were waiting for our payment to go thru. Old Bay fries were ok but not special. I won't be back.

Ate here for the first AND last time. From the outside they looked authentic, but you immediately get a sense that there isn't anything unique about this place. It's a hyped-up take out joint. The pizza was expensive and wasn't even good. The sauce was bland and their kids spaghetti dish was horrible. Overall, it was an unclean place . The only good thing was the service.

Rude waitstaff and high prices, even for OC. Service was fast and the food was good- not great. I probably wouldn't go again, but I won't recommend against it.

I would rather starve. What's that? Oh. Let me repeat. I would rather starve.

Pizza. (Yes, they have other stuff but I did not even look at the menu) Not outstanding and certainly not bad -- a nice place to go for what the name of the business implies.

The service at this location was outstanding. The food was me'h, so that balances out to 3 stars. I got a slice of pizza and I do like the thin crust however there is just something very lacking in the sauce they use. They are very generous with the toppings though. Next time I'm here I'll either opt for breakfast or some sort of sandwich but I'd skip the pizza. As with any place in OC you'll be paying resort town prices so I would rate this middle of the road as far as cost.

Tradition to come here since we always stay at park place which is next door. Food is expensive at the beach, and pizza is no exception. But check it out and grab a slice. Breakfasts are decent, but a bit pricey.

This is usually the Dough Roller my wife and I go to when we are in OC. We always come here for breakfast which is just awesome. I always end up getting the banana pancakes and we always end up getting our breakfast very quickly. The food is great, the people are great most of the time and the place is clean.

We ate here because we stayed at the hotel behind it and it really sucked. I have never had their breakfast but we had their pizza and it was gross. Their dough was ok, thin and crispy the cheese didnt taste real to me and the sauce was the worst part. If you are craving pizza you will have better luck going to one of the dominos or papa johns.

My friends and I came here for lunch while vacationing in Ocean City. This place is kind of diner-esque in setup. The menu has every kind of fried/cheesy food you could want. I decided on the Grilled Cheese Panini with bacon. It came with fries and I really enjoyed it. It was perfect hangover food. My friends all enjoyed their meals. Unfortunately, when the bill came and we asked the waitress to split it among a few cards, she could not figure it out, wound up charging the whole bill to one card, and couldn't undo it. It added at least a half hour onto the meal, and my friend had to make several calls to the credit card company to have it fixed. Thumbs down for the waitress.

i've never had the pizza but i went to breakfast here last saturday AM. am very glad i finally visited one of these well-known O.C chains, which was conveniently close to the water (it's on the boardwalk) and to my hotel. apparently, i arrived pretty early (right after they opened at 7am) and felt like i was transported back to my childhood: the carousel horses in between the tables closer to the front and the metal cartoon lunchboxes that line the walls. and you can't go wrong with the attentiveness of the wait staff or the country that's playing in the background. coffee was okay and the eggs weren't bad. but i was very pleased with the french toast, but be wary of how much you order: when the menu say's "3 slices," it's referring to actual 3 cut slices of bread cut into halves = 6 half slices of french bread. YUM. if going for breakfast (especially during seasonal beach time), go early.

dough roller is my second favorite place on the boardwalk...second to thrashers. love the pizza and pancakes for bfast. blueberry pancakes are my fave. i don't get into a big fluffy pancake. too dry. dough roller's are just right, but what i really go for is the pizza. it's just yummy. thin crust, not too crispy. good pizza sauce, kinda salty. i go for the plain cheese. sometimes before bed because on the boardwalk, they are open late:)

Kids were exhausted after a full day's worth of sun so this was our "to-go" option one evening. The pizza was ready quickly and the wait staff was very sweet to my impatient/tired 7 yr old giving him a couple of free "crazy bands" and drink refills. They were generous with plates and napkins for our on the run pizza. As far as pizza, it was okay. I've had much better (we live a day trip away from Chicago) and I've had much worse. The oddest part was the crust got soggy under the weight of the toppings so it was good that they gave us forks for the road. Our hotel was right next door so it wasn't that the pizza had a chance to get cold and soggy, I think it would have happened had we eaten there. It's a decent option as an alternative to pricier sit down options.

Always, always stopped here for pizza when I'm in Ocean City. And it never changes. It's always the perfect go-to after a day at the beach. I also recommend getting a basket of their fries (When in Maryland, you *must* get it Old Bay style) for takeout to enjoy on the beach together. Just watch out for the seagulls!

The good part is they are open for breakfast, conveniently located and the food is decent. The quantity for price I found less than admirable. Ok, look....If I spend 9.95 for the biggest breakfast on the menu, I expect to leave stuffed, not wanting more. Everything is cooked well and the ingredients seem to be high quality but the big breakfast should maybe include toast or hash browns or biscuits and gravy or something more than 2 eggs and 3 of your smallish, thinnish, light and airy pancakes with a couple strips of bacon. Maybe you could make the pancakes bigger or something, I mean I polished off 3 of your flap jacks in under 2 minutes and looked for more....but there was no more :(
